About us

God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. Ephesians 1:5

Who we are:
We are a Hispanic church of believers of God and His work here on earth through Jesus His Son. Our vision and mission are oriented to integrate Christian values within the community where we exist.

Vision:
To have a positive impact within the community where we exist, seeking the comprehensive transformation of the individual, the family and the society, by serving God in His plan of salvation as instruments in His hands, through the proclamation of His Gospel and the training of disciples motivated and committed to Christ.

Mission:
We use the acronym PESCA (Spanish for fishing), to develop our mission
PESCA, stands for Proclamation, Education, Service, Communion and Adoration

To be witnesses of the redemptive work of God in our community (Proclamation).
To grow in the knowledge of God as His body (Education).
To serve others without exception (Service).
To practice fellowship in and out our facilities, with believers and nonbelievers (Communion).
To worship God with understanding and with all our being (Worship).

What we believe:
We believe in God as the Creator of all that exists, including the human being. We believe in Jesus, His Son as our Savior and in The Holy Spirit as our Comforter. We believe in The Bible as The Word of God and as a ruler of doctrine and government. We believe in the church as the Body of Christ, which meets to worship His Holy Name together.

SOLA SCRIPTURA:
The Word of God is the ultimate authority in matters of faith and practice. Therefore, anything that contradicts God's revelation can regulate the life of the believer (Galatians 1: 6-10; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1: 3).

SOLUS CHRISTUS:
Salvation is found in Christ alone, thereby, any other way to reach God is excluded (Acts 4:12).

SOLA GRATIA:
Salvation is a gift from God. Therefore, it is something that the sinner receives undeservedly, based only on the merits of Christ achieved during his life, death and resurrection (Ephesians 2: 8).

SOLA FIDE:
Salvation can only be received when we put our faith in Him who died for us, excluding the possibility that our works can contribute to this (Ephesians 2: 8-9, Romans 3:28).

SOLI DEO GLORIA:
The purpose of the salvation we have received is to glorify God; To highlight the excellencies or virtues of His Character (Ephesians 1: 4-6; 1 Peter 2: 9).
